A jury of arts professionals has selected some of the many works of art and fine crafts generously donated to benefit MPBN through our Great TV Auction for our 7th annual art exhibition. These items are on display at L/A Arts Gallery 5, an arts space located in the Lyceum Hall at 49 Lisbon Street in Lewiston, through June 28th. The Portland Museum of Art “Georgia O’Keeffe and the Camera: The Art of Identity.” This exhibition of 18 paintings by Georgia O’Keeffe and 60 photographs of her will, for the first time, pair paintings and photographs to establish two opposing public images of the artist. Portland Museum of Art “Contemporary Collaborations: Artist and Master Printer.” The exhibit features 35 prints by 30 contemporary artists with Maine connections who have created significant prints in concert with technical specialists at professional fine art print presses. AA: Wiscasset Bay Gallery is hosting their Summer Gala Reception today from 5 to 7 pm. It is always an interesting and fun crowd and a beautiful spread of food and drinks. They’ll be featuring their new exhibit, “Artist Colonies of the New England Coast.”

VH: And on Thursday in Wiscasset, the Maine Art Gallery is having an opening reception from 5 to 7 for their Gallery Jurors Exhibit, which will be on display until August 10.
