Kimberly Post Rowe, “Radience”
Art House Picture Frames in Portland is currently featuring the works of Kimberly Post Rowe in “Mobile Natura: Botanical iPhonography” through August 31. Post Rowe’s photography, or rather “iPhonography,” offers an exceptional introduction into an emerging media blending the simplistic image capture of the iPhone, enhanced and manipulated using editing software apps strictly on the mobile device. The finished work is then uploaded or printed directly from the iPhone. Post Rowe captures the subtle beauty of the natural world in ways that appear quietly grand and otherworldly, sometimes making the familiar unrecognizable. FMI, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
