Galerie Dufour in Belfast presents, Coastal Curves, a photography exhibition featuring Maine’s spectacular shoreline juxtaposed with the human figure. The opening reception will be held on Friday, October 7, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. The show runs through the fall season.
Photographer and gallery owner, Charles Laurier Dufour, explains, “I schedule one exhibition each year that is solely dedicated to the marriage between the human form and the singular beauty of Maine’s coast.” Both color and monochromatic works were created for this exhibition of recent works. The images for Coastal Curves were captured at Wolfe’s Neck State Park, Acadia National Park on Isle Au Haut, Sear’s Island, Biddeford Pool, and Reed State Park. Over two dozen images were chosen for the exhibition and range in size from frames that measure 20” x 24” down to 8” x 10” matted prints.
