Lynette Sproch

An opening reception for “Corrugation Nation,” takes place 5 -7 p.m., Friday, April 6, at Waterfall Arts. The cardboard pieces are on display in the Clifford Gallery and throughout the building at 256 High Street in Belfast.
“Cardboard is a classy but classless material – it’s cheap, readily available and versatile. It’s pleasing to know that so many people enjoy making artwork with it,” states Martha Piscuskas, Program Director at Waterfall Arts. Work by young children, high school and college students, accomplished artists and crafters are all included in the show. Much of the work is for sale and the remaining pieces will be raffled off at the show’s closing party on Friday May 18th from 6 to 8pm. For more information on classes, artist residencies, studio rentals and events, visit www.waterfallarts.org or call 207 338-2222.
