The artist Pigeon will give an artist talk on Thursday, June 14 at 7 p.m. at Waterfall Arts, 256 High Street in Belfast. Pigeon is a pseudonymous street artist based in Bangor and New York City. In the process of making public art, he has become a catalyst for community building and interactive play between residents of both cities. Pigeon recently installed a wheatpaste installation in a stairwell at Waterfall Arts, which will be up all summer or until it falls off. He will lead a wheatpasting workshop on Saturday June 23 from 10 to 4.
Admission for the talk is free, but donations are always welcome. For more information on Pigeon, his workshop, summer classes and studio rentals, call 338-2222 or visit waterfallarts.org.
