“Regional Artists: An Open, Juried Show” is one of four new exhibitions opening at Barn Gallery in Ogunquit on June 27. Juror Nate Risteen, artist, writer, and teacher at Art Institute of New Hampshire, selected work for this show from entries by local artists and members of the Ogunquit Art Association.
“OAA Expressions” features a wide variety of art by OAA artist members. Painter Carol Aronson-Shore and printmaker and painter Nancy R. Davison have showcase exhibitions in the North Gallery. Invited New England Sculptors continue to display three-dimensional work in the outdoor Sculpture Court. An ever-changing array of small works of art is available in the Collectors Gallery.
The public is invited to a gala reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 30, to see the new shows, meet the artists and buy a new artist-made bid card for admission to the OAA Art Auction on Aug. 4.
The Ogunquit Artists Association opens their Mid-Season Exhibitions on June 27 in a show that runs through July 28.
