Fields Pond Audubon Center is hosting a Group Art Show for the summer months of July and August at the nature center. The featured artists are Nancy Morgan Barnes, Gregory Dunham, Scott Moore, and Stefan Pastuhov. Nancy Morgan Barnes taught drawing at DePauw university, and drawing and painting at Indiana University. She is currently represented by Greenhut Galleries of Portland, by G. Watson Gallery in Stonington, and by Beaux Arts des Ameriques in Montreal. Her paintings are beautifully wrought and witty. Gregory Dunham’s work is included in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Rutgers University, and The Boston Public Library. His work is characterized by close observation, fine draughtsmanship, and an atmosphere of cool tranquility. Scott Moore is a graduate of the Maine College of Art. He has exhibited professionally for over 30 years. In Maine, he is represented by Argosy Gallery, Bar Harbor, and by Bayview Galleries of Camden and Brunswick. His paintings are always fundamentally about the effects of light. Stefan Pastuhov studied at the Boston Museum School and Tufts University. His work has been exhibited from Maine to California. Stefan paints almost exclusively in the plein aire tradition; chronicles in real time of a specific day. Fields Pond Audubon Center is located at 216 Fields Pond Road in Holden.
