The Maine Farmland Trust Gallery in Belfast presents “Maine Farms Through a Painter’s Eye” featuring oil paintings by Elizabeth Fraser. There will be a festive reception, open to the public, from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday Dec. 7. Fraser and the hardworking farmers whose livestock and produce she paints have one thing in common: discipline. Fraser is a spirited daily painter from Portland. She makes it a point to paint every day, and completes at least one oil painting a day. A large selection of Fraser’s recent work, including many small affordable oils, will be on exhibit at the gallery through Wednesday, Jan. 2.
