Artist-printmaker Nancy R. Davison has put together a lively show of her etchings and watercolors for the York Hospital Café Art Gallery in York, on display through January 1. This exhibition features images from her backyard and studio as well as Seattle and New Orleans. Some of the views are from her vantage point at BlueStocking Studio, the art gallery she had in downtown York Beach from 1985 to 2007. Davison learned printmaking from Leonard Baskin at Smith College and set up her own printmaking studio after graduation. Davison is currently President of the Ogunquit Arts Collaborative/Barn Gallery. She is listed in Who’s Who, Who’s Who in American Women and Who’s Who in American Art. She has had numerous solo exhibitions in the U.S., Sweden & Japan. Her work may be viewed at barngallery.org . The York Hospital Café is in York Hospital, 15 Hospital Drive, and the hospital will receive 10% of proceeds from sales
