“CSA: Community Supporting Arts” exhibition at MFT Gallery

“Coolidge Effect,” linocut by Scott Minzy

Maine Farmland Trust Gallery in Belfast presents a unique farming-inspired art exhibition “CSA: Community Supporting Arts,” on show from Jan. 4 through Feb. 27. MFT Gallery hosts this exhibit organized by the Harlow Gallery in Hallowell showing seven of the project’s original fourteen artists. The other seven artists will have their work exhibited at the Hutchinson Center. The premise of the project was a simple one: connect fourteen Maine artists with thirteen central Maine farmers who operate CSAs or “Community Supported Agriculture,” fitting perfectly within the MFT’s mission of celebrating art in agriculture.
