Mars Hall Gallery opens “Black and White” and “Local Color”

Mars Hall Gallery in Tenant’s Harbor opens for its 10th Season with a reception 5-8 p.m. Friday June 21 for “Local Color” a  group show featuring the works of local plein air artists Also on show are “Black and White” photography by Antonia Small, platinum prints by Ken Martin, who will also be showing wood block prints, handmade paper masks by Diane Green-Hebert, etchings by David Paffhausen, encaustic works by Otty Merrill, drawings by Leo Brooks and Alison Hill, paintings and photography by Russell Smith,  3-D ART by Bill Cook and assemblages by Edward Mackenzie. The “Recycled Zoo” is a whimsical collection of metal sculptures by Brian Read will be on display in the gardens.  Also offered are carved decoys by Stephen Hill, turned & carved vessels by Dick Kelly, jewelry by Kathleen Kiley as well a variety of quality crafts, antiques and collectibles.
