Art Space Gallery opening for gallery artists

“Tied up and ready” by Lydia Kaeyer

Art Space Gallery in Rockland invites all to an opening reception 5 – 8 p.m. Friday, Oct 4. Three of the 18 co-op artists will be featured in October’s front room exhibit. The watercolors of Lydia Kaeyer, resident of Owls Head, are always painted in bold color, expressing her love of the working waterfront. Her specialities are the realistic interpretation of coastal scenes, strong in style with colorful shadows and the whites of the paper preserved. An award winning artist, her work is represented in private collections throughout the country. Laurie Lofman Bellmore will be showing her finely crafted Precious Metal Clay & Dichroic Glass Jewelry as well as digitally enhanced photography, all promising to be full of color for the fall show. Charlene “Sea” Vanderslice has been dedicated to saving our oceans & their endangered creatures. She is uniquely known to use actual sea water in her whimsical, and color saturated portraits of our ocean’s gifts. For more information visit artspacemaine.com,
