The University of Maine Museum of Art’s Leonard Lecture Series presents “Bedspreads and Manhole Covers: A Talk about Process and Everyday Inspirations,” 6 – 7 p.m. Wed. March 12 by painter Hannah Cole whose works are featured in UMMA’s exhibition Time’s Wife, on display through March 22. Cole will reveal the inspiration, process and challenges behind her work in a presentation in the Leonard gallery. Hannah Cole received a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Yale University, Post-Baccalaureate studies in painting from Brandeis University, and a Master of Fine Arts in painting from Boston University.
