Asticou Connection Gallery Reception and Open House

The Asticou Connection Gallery on Mt. Desert invites the pubic to a reception and Open House to celebrate their fifth season, 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday July 6. On show will be paintings by R. Scott Baltz, jewelry by Bethany Savage, fine furniture by Joseph Tracy, and sculptures by Obadiah Bourne Buell. Asticou Connection has two open floors of light and airy display space in Town Hill and features the work of the Savage family and other area artists and craftsmen. Master carver and owner Ken Savage has a workshops/studio on premises with stunning works in progress. Ken’s father, Charles K. Savage, a landscaper and designer of the world famous Asticou Azalea Gardens and the Northeast Harbor Thuya Gardens, was also a master carver and creator of the Thuya Gardens door.
