The art of Dan Graziano was honored at Easels in Frederick, a national plein air painting event that took place June 16 – 21 in historic Frederick, MD. Graziano, of Castine was the recipient of the Best Painting with an Architectural Subject in The City of Frederick and a $1,000 cash prize for his oil painting. Graziano was one of 30 national juried artists who participated in the fourth annual, five-day event during which time more than 100 paintings were executed, displayed, judged and sold to the public at the Grand Exhibition. Nationally-known Nashville-based plein air artist and event judge, Anne Blair Brown, awarded a total of 13 prizes at the exhibition with cash awards totaling $14,500.
