The Deer Isle Artist Association announces the opening of the exhibit “Antipasti.” Antipasti, or “before the meal,” is a light treat and a precursor of what is yet to come from these artists and the DIAA. The exhibition gives a peek into the studio lives of ten member artists and their work in a variety of media, including photography, drawing, painting, pottery and sculpture. On display is the work of Rosalind Ellen Bridges, Wendy Eysenbach-Jagger, Judith Felch, Jill Finsen, Norma Griffith, Emily Johansen, Kathleen Kriegman, David McBeth, Don Seymour and Alice Wilkinson. The DIAA Gallery is located at 15 Main Street in Deer Isle Village. For more information call the DIAA Gallery at 348-2330 or David McBeth at 326-8091.
