The Kingman Gallery is solely dedicated to showing the work of Maine fine art photographers. Anne Kingman Page, owner of the gallery, has been a summer resident of Deer Isle since childhood, and has recently moved to the Island year round. She is currently archiving the work of Charlotte Brooks, the only woman staff photographer at LOOK magazine. The gallery represents the work of 15 Maine photographers chosen by Page for their quality as well as the diversity of their work. The photographers currently represented are Thomas Birtwistle, Anne-Claude Cotty, Susan Davens, Jeff Dworsky, Françoise Gervais, Terry Hire, Lynn Karlin, John Kelly, Terrell Lester, Jim Nickelson, Claire Seidl, David Wade, Samuel Waxman, Douglas Wood, and Jane Yudelman. The Kingman Gallery is located a half mile south of Deer Isle Village at 117 Center District Crossroad at the corner of the Sunset Road (15A).
