Mars Hall Opens 2015 Season

“4 x 4” – REALISM

4 Artists – 4 Walls – 4 One Person Shows: Featured Artists are Nancy Baker, Linda F. Funk, Carl Sublett, and Terry Wolf. The show opens at Mars Hall Gallery on Friday, June 19 with a reception from 5 to 8 p.m. The show runs through July 19. Hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“The Ever Evolving Eclectic Extravaganza of ART” is an ongoing exhibition of paintings by Leo Books, Jeannette Steele Esposito, Kris Johnson, Roger Kirby, Sharon Larkin, Nat Lewis, Maurice Michel Lode, Elaine Niemi, Jimmy Reed , Elaine Reed, Holly Smith, Wm. Thon, Barbara Major Weaver, Ron Weaver and Eleanor Zuccola. Also available are assemblage pieces by Bill Cook and Constance Kiermaier, block prints by Ken Martin, pinhole photography by Antonia Small, driftwood fish by Claire Perry, turned and carved wood vessels by Dick Kelly, decoupage boxes by Davene Fahy, hand carved decoys by Stephan Hill, cement relief sculpture by Priscilla Cross as well as quality crafts and fine antiques. Metal sculpture by Jay Hoagland and Brian Read will be on display inside as well outside in the newly expanded Sculpture Garden. This year there will be lots of surprises in the garden, and we’ll also have farm fresh eggs!

Hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mars Hall Gallery is located 12.7 miles down the beautiful St. George peninsula on Rt. 131 S, 621 Port Clyde Rd., in Martinsville. Look for 5 white flags and the green dragon on the right!
