Mars Hall Gallery Celebrated “Yuletide in St. George”

Mars Hall Gallery in Martinsville celebrated the holiday season as part of the “Yuletide in St. George” annual festival on November 27 and 28. But, you can still go and see the Christmas doves and more by appointment.

The gallery offers a large variety of gift items including handmade Santa’s by Karen Zola, handmade soaps from Stone House Road Apiary, holiday cards by Nancy Baker and Eleanor Zuccola, driftwood fish by Claire Perry, decoupage jewel boxes by Davene Fahy, carved & painted decoys by Stephen Hill, turned & carved vessels by Dick Kelly, mixed media sculpture by Jay Hoagland, Bill Cook, Priscilla Cross, Constance Kiermaier and Elaine Niemi. The Recycled Zoo by Brian Read will be on display inside as well as in the gardens. Also available are handmade Christmas ornaments well as mosaic lamps, antique negative mirrors, stained glass, pottery and a wonderful selection of vintage jewelry, antiques and collectibles.

An eclectic mix of ART is available by artists Leo Brooks, Jeanette Steele-Esposito, Kris Johnson, Roger Kirby, Sharon Larkin, Nat Lewis, Maurice Michel Lode, Greg Mort, Elaine Niemi, Cam Noel, C. W. Oakes, Elaine Reed, Jimmy Reed, Carl Sublett, William Thon and Ron Weaver. Also on exhibit is  Antonia Small’s black and white photography and her book of poetry and Ken Martin’s  silkscreen and wood block prints. Affordable works by guest artists are also available.
