March {Mapping} Madness ArtLab for All Ages

2The Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA) invites you to create and experiment with March {Mapping} Madness on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. at CMCA’s temporary South End location, 218 Main Street, Rockland.

Dreaming of far off equatorial destinations? Arctic/Antarctic explorations? Imaginary travels in your own backyard? Choose your own adventure with a mystery bag of collage materials, and you’re off! Bring landscapes and places to life with unexpected mixed media. Children, adults, and families are welcome to attend free of charge; no advance registration is necessary.

CMCA’s Saturday afternoon ArtLabs are led by interdisciplinary artist/educator Alexis Immarino. Alexis received her Masters in Community Art from Maryland Institute College of Art and is Lead Artist for CMCA’s Leaps of Imagination in-school program.

ArtLab is supported in part by the Milton and Sally Avery Art Foundation, the Bob Crewe Foundation, Camden National Bank, and individual donors. For more information, visit cmcamw.org
