Art Salon: Keen Observation

1On Thursday, May 5, Waterfall Arts will hold an art salon as part of its current open call show, Keen Observation. All are invited to attend and discuss how closely observing a subject effects the creative and art making process. Salon, from the French word salon (a living room or parlor), means a gathering for conversation and discussion.

The salon will be moderated by Martha Piscuskas, Director of Programming at Waterfall Arts along with other contributing artists. The discussion begins at 7 pm and while there is no charge to attend, donations are always welcome. For more information on the Keen Observation exhibit, stop by 256 High Street in Belfast to view the show or visit waterfallarts.org.

2016 marks Waterfall Arts’ tenth year in Belfast offering innovative classes, open studios, workshops, exhibitions, after school programs, studio rentals, and cultural events.  The Keen Observation show is supported by Viking Lumber and yearlong exhibition sponsors Cold Mountain Builders, All Creatures Acupuncture, Graffic Teeze, and Revision Energy.
